by Lesly Baroni Far from being a Feng Shui expert, I recognize that much of what this eastern philosophy of home placement says is valid or at least plain useful. Essentially, Feng Shui states that every choice we make in our homes, be it wall color, room decor, where we put our furniture, what type of furniture we have, and how much furniture we cram into our homes, has a direct effect on the quality of our lives. Without going into esoteric details, it has to do with our Qi (or chi), our energy flow, being dissipated or reinforced according to circumstances. To me, it’s just a matter of common sense. Here are a few do’s and don’ts that I happen to agree with.

Everything that happens to us is the direct result of our vibration, every thought that we think; every emotion that we feel is based on a vibration of energy. Energy is a fundamental entity of nature that is transferred between parts of a system. A thought sends forth energy from where the thought was conceived out into the universe to where the thought will manifest. The thought will manifest itself in the same vibration the thought originated.

The Contrarian by Phagos
I'm going to let you in on the worst kept secret of Wicca: the Wiccan Rede is impossible to follow. For those who are not familiar with it, the Rede is this, or something similar: An it harm none, do what ye will. This is Wicca's central tenant, the one thing that all Wiccans agree on (supposedly) that defines the religion. Yet, this tenant is impossible to follow.
